You all really had thoughts on Waco Monopoly.
Last week I polled the idea of a Waco Buzz-themed Monopoly board⦠and letās just say the inbox was lively. Turns out, there was a version back in 2018āand yes, I also found Bellmead-Opoly on eBay for $40. Not even kidding.
So weāre scrapping that idea (for now) and cooking up something betterā¦maybe a local taco passport or a Waco version of Clue??

Governor Abbott signed new school voucher legislation this week, creating educational savings accounts that will roll out in the 2026ā2027 school year.

Swing Waco: Indoor golf coming downtown ā³ļø
Another one! Swing Waco is the third indoor golf simulator to be announced in the past monthāthis one landing in downtown Waco. Maybe itās Masters fever, or maybe weāre all just trying to avoid melting while still hitting the links. Either way, Wacoās indoor golf scene is heating up just in time for summer.

Walk-Onās: Officially closed š¢

Walk-Onās Sports Bistreaux has officially closed its Waco location, with May 3 as its final day. Co-owned by NFL legend Drew Brees, the Louisiana-based chain was a go-to for game days, burgers, and big screens. Gift cards can still be used at other locationsājust not in Waco anymore.
