Brazos Nights Returns April 4th 🎶
Brazos Nights is back, and they’re kicking off the outdoor music season in style! On April 4th, the City of Waco is bringing in Bowling for Soup, the pop-punk legends from the ‘90s. If you ever sang along to “1985” or “Girl All the Bad Guys Want,” you’re going to want to be there. Their high-energy tunes will have everyone who grew up in the ‘90s singing at the top of their lungs and reliving some good ol’ nostalgia. 🎸
Mark your calendars, gather your crew, and get ready to rock out under the Waco stars. You know the drill—great music, good vibes, and it’s all FREE! Info Here.
💥🎉 The Hillsboro Outlet Mall is Getting Demolished
The Hillsboro Outlet Mall’s going down in a blaze of ‘90s glory—because nothing says closure like a rage room and kolaches. From April 17-20, the City of Hillsboro is calling it MALLMAGEDDON—a four-day celebration marking the demolition of this long-empty mall. They’ll have a carnival, a ‘90s pop-up club, and a rage room to help you let off some steam. Grab some kolaches in West and head up to Hillsboro in a few weeks to see the mall come down. Info Here.

Waco Ale Co. (soon to be Waco Brewing Co.) is making a power move to a massive new space on Franklin, right across from Milo and Alpha & Omega. With nearly 20,000 square feet—four times the size of their current spot—they’re going all in with a family-friendly vibe: playground, arcade, tons of TVs, live music, and maybe even pickleball courts. Basically, it’s shaping up to be Waco’s ultimate hangout. More details in Mike Copeland’s Waco Tribune-Herald article.
Waco’s Getting Stronger—Inside and Out.
Two new spots are stepping up to help Waco stay fit and confident.
✅ Special Strong is bringing adaptive fitness to town, offering personal training and group classes for individuals with physical, mental, and cognitive challenges. Their mission? Empowering clients to build strength, confidence, and independence.
🏃♂️ KidStrong is opening in Woodway (9108 Jordan Ln #601), offering science-based classes designed to build confidence, character, and physical skills in kids. Parent Hack: Sign up and let them tire out the little ones—your couch deserves a break. It’s a fast-paced, fun environment where kids thrive while parents cheer them on. Shoutout to Reid Peevey Company for brokering the deal and helping bring this awesome addition to Waco!
Big moves. Big wins. Waco’s future looks strong. 💪
