Why Is Everyone Talking About NAD+?
If you’ve been hearing the buzz around NAD+ and wondering what it is, you’re not alone. NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a molecule found in every cell of your body.  It plays a key role in energy production, brain function, metabolism, and healthy aging.  As we get older, NAD+ levels naturally decline, which may contribute to fatigue, brain fog, and slower recovery.

That’s why more people in Waco are turning to NAD+ therapy at I-Vit Hydration Lounge.

Right now, I-Vit is offering 20% OFF NAD+ Drips for Waco Buzz Subscribers, making it the perfect time to experience this cellular support therapy.

Short on time?  I-Vit also offers NAD+ injections; a quicker, more convenient option for those who want a streamlined visit while still supporting energy, focus, and overall vitality.

Whether you’re focused on performance, longevity, recovery, or simply feeling like yourself again, NAD+ is one of the most talked-about wellness therapies for a reason.

Current specials include:
• 20% OFF NAD+ Drips
• Thursdays: BOGO 50% OFF with a friend (You Can Even Mix and Match Drips)
• Book online and use code BOOKAHEAD for 5% OFF

Visit I-Vit Hydration Lounge and see what the conversation is about.

Southern Living puts Waco on Its 2026 Must-Visit list 👀
Southern Living just featured Waco as one of the cities to visit this year, highlighting Magnolia, Hotel 1928, Hotel Herringbone, Milo, Red Herring, Opal’s Oysters, Vitek’s, the Suspension Bridge, the Dr Pepper Museum (makes sense in light of the 23-ft Dr. Pepper bottle going in soon). I was glad to see Schmaltz’s made the list. But does their lineup match yours?

If someone texted me and said, “We’ve got 36 hours. What’s the plan?” I’m sending them to Brazos Park East for a river walk, Pinewood for coffee, and tacos from Ranchito #5 at some point before they leave town.

What do you think Southern Living should have included in their list?

Black Worship Festival wraps Saturday night 🎶
All week, Baylor’s School of Music has been hosting the Black Worship Festival, bringing in artists, scholars, students, and community members for concerts, lectures, workshops, and conversations. Grammy-winning producer Kevin Bond and the internationally acclaimed Nathaniel Dett Chorale have been on campus throughout the week.

It all wraps up Saturday at 7:30 pm in Jones Concert Hall with The Hosea Oratorio: A Gospel Jazz Hip-Hop Spoken Word Fusion, written by Dr. Stephen Newby. The piece blends gospel, jazz, hip hop, spoken word, choir, and live musicians into one large-scale production. Should be a beautiful evening amidst a weekend full of events and live music happening around town.

French Pastries Cooking Class at the new STEAM Center 🥐
There was a stretch of childhood where I was convinced I’d grow up hosting a cooking show. Somewhere between Emeril and a kind version of Gordon Ramsay. Maybe one day Waco Buzz Cooks becomes a thing. That hasn’t happened yet, but I’ve always wanted to have more chances for people to gather and learn something new in the kitchen.

The new STEAM Center is now offering regular adult cooking classes, and next Saturday’s focus is French pastries. You’ll learn to make macarons and cream puffs from scratch in the demonstration kitchen, working in small groups with hands-on instruction. No experience needed and seats are limited.

🐾 If your pet needs expert care, Ranch House Pet-Med offers comprehensive care from wellness to surgery, all right here in Waco. You can find them online, by phone at 254-544-1458, or at 149 Dosher Lane, Waco, 76712.

Gretel

Meet Gretel, a 1-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix weighing in at 15 pounds of scruffy charm. She’s young, fully grown, and right in that sweet spot where the puppy chaos starts to fade but the playful energy sticks around.

If you’re looking for a small sidekick who can keep up on walks and still curl up on the couch after, Gretel might be your girl.

👉 Meet Gretel at Fuzzy Friends this weekend or learn more about her here.
