Together with Waco Bodymend Company
Spring is here and your body has been through it.
Between the near freeze earlier this week and 90-degree temps hitting this weekend, it's been a lot. Waco Bodymend is the perfect place to recover, recharge, and actually feel good going into the weekend.
They're giving Waco Buzz readers a full-body red light therapy session for just $10 — that's $28 off. Climb into their TheraLight 360+ bed, let the light do the work, and walk out feeling like yourself again. Better sleep, less inflammation, more energy. Your body will thank you.
Use code BUZZRED26 to claim it.

BUZZWORTHY NEWS
Just as the greatest weekend in college basketball gets underway, Waco has its own bracket to settle. 32 of Waco's best dogs are in, each round runs two days, and by next weekend we'll have a champion. Single-elimination, one vote per person per matchup.
Together we raised $400 for Fuzzy Friends Rescue through entries alone. Go vote, share your favorite pup on social, and tag @Waco.Buzz — we'll repost to our stories all week.
💇 Drybar Is Coming Downtown
Drybar is coming to Waco. The California based blowout-only salon chain started as one shop in 2010 and now has 200+ locations across the country. They're opening near Foster Pavilion in the new Riverfront Lofts development this fall.
If you've never been to one, think of it as a salon visit where the only thing on the menu is a great blowout.
🥐 A French Bakery Opens Downtown This Saturday
Speaking of downtown getting interesting — Un Je Ne Sais Quoi opens their doors this Saturday at 8 AM. It's an authentic French pastry shop that built a following in Washington DC and chose Waco for their second location.
Open Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The chocolate croissants alone are worth setting an alarm for.
🚐 Waco Has Its First Mobile Street Medicine Team
Waco Family Medicine launched a mobile clinic this week that drives directly to people experiencing homelessness and delivers primary care on the spot. It's funded by a $2.5 million federal grant and the first program of its kind in Central Texas. Young doctors training at Waco Family Medicine will rotate through it, which means the people who need care the most are also helping train the next generation of physicians. Pretty cool way to run a program. Read More
💧 Free Family Activity This Sunday at the Mayborn
World Water Day is Sunday, and the Mayborn is marking it with Meet the Scientists from 1 to 3 PM. Baylor researchers guide families through hands-on activities about the urban water cycle — where water comes from, how it gets treated, and where it goes after it leaves your house.
Free, drop-in, and your kids will come home knowing more about water infrastructure than most adults. Worth the visit.
👉 Mayborn Museum, Sunday, 1 to 3 PM.
OPEN HOUSE
🏡 1517 Cumberland Ave
Welcome to Open House, where this week's pick is a 1920 one-story on a double lot that's ready to host the whole neighborhood.
