Together with HOTWORX Woodway
If your biggest fitness challenge is fitting workouts into real life, HOTWORX was built with you in mind.
HOTWORX Woodway offers 15-minute infrared sauna workouts designed for people who want results without rearranging their entire day. These aren’t long gym sessions or crowded weight rooms. They’re efficient, guided workouts backed by real calorie data and infrared sauna research.
In the same 15 minutes, a HOTWORX HIIT Cycle session can burn more calories than running or the elliptical. Training in infrared heat helps raise your core temperature faster, elevate your heart rate, and engage muscles more deeply. Many members also report continued calorie burn after the workout ends.
Beyond efficiency, HOTWORX delivers benefits traditional gyms don’t typically offer: improved circulation, stress relief, pain reduction, and support for weight-loss goals. All inside semi-private infrared sauna rooms with fully virtual guided sessions.
It’s fitness designed around busy schedules. No waiting on equipment. No packed classes. Just show up, sweat, and get on with your day. With 24/7 access, HOTWORX Woodway fits early mornings, late nights, and everything in between.

🏈 Super Bowl Weekend Is Here
This weekend kicks off a pretty incredible stretch for sports fans. The Winter Olympics opening ceremony is today. MCC baseball opens the season with a squad that, word on the street, might be one of the best in the country. And the Super Bowl is on Sunday.
With the Super Bowl kicking off at 5:30 PM this Sunday, even if you’re mostly there for the commercials, Bad Bunny halftime show, or the snacks, it helps to know where to watch. Whether that’s your couch, a friend’s house, or surrounded by other fans around town, here are some of the best spots in Waco to catch the game:
Dog Haus Biergarten

❤️ One Week to Valentine’s Day
And just like that, this sports-packed weekend quietly puts us one week out from Valentine’s Day. With the 14th landing on a Saturday, let the record show that celebrating on Friday the 13th absolutely counts. Might even count more. Fewer crowds. Less pressure. Same brownie points.
Whether you’re planning something thoughtful, something low-key, or something centered around good food and no stress, here are a few solid ways to make next weekend feel intentional:
🍽️ A Classic Date Night (Friday the 13th or Saturday the 14th)
Butcher’s Cellar is doing Valentine’s right. Prime rib, full menu, and special desserts. Pro move: invite another couple and make it a longer night.
🥂 Dinner, Music, and a Stay-Downtown Option (Friday the 13th or Saturday the 14th)
AC Hotel Waco Downtown is hosting their Valentine’s Day In Love’s Key Dinner on both nights. Three courses, live music, and timed seating. You can even turn it into a staycation.
💃 Dinner, Dancing, and a Good Cause (Saturday the 14th)
If dinner reservations aren’t your thing, head to The Palladium for dinner and dancing with The Morticians. Spaghetti dinner, open bar, door prizes, and a packed dance floor, all benefiting the Waco Family Abuse Center. More info.

🐾 If your pet needs expert care, Ranch House Pet-Med offers comprehensive care from wellness to surgery, all right here in Waco. You can find them online, by phone at 254-544-1458, or at 149 Dosher Lane, Waco, 76712.

Meet Buck, a 1-year-old Yorkshire terrier mix in his confident, curious, ready-to-be-someone’s-dog era. Small in size, steady on personality, and past the tiny-puppy chaos phase. He’s young, alert, and likely happiest with someone who wants a little companion that’s playful, portable, and down for daily life side by side.
