BUZZWORTHY NEWS

📦 Prime Air Launches in Waco Skies
Cue The Jetsons theme song, because we are one step closer to living in a futuristic city.
Amazon’s Prime Air delivery service is now fully operational in Waco. This brand-new offering allows for incredibly fast deliveries right to your doorstep, courtesy of the company’s state-of-the-art delivery drones.
Able to carry packages up to five pounds, these drones are designed to serve your neighborhood with alarming speed and efficiency. Deliveries are $4.99 for Prime members and $9.99 for non-members. Amazon says flights are monitored for safety and reliability, but time will tell how these sky deliveries hold up in Waco’s wind and weather.
Moral of the story: if you forget toothpaste or batteries again, there’s a chance your replacement might drop in from the sky.
☑ Tuesday’s Election Results
McLennan County voters showed strong support for their school systems this week. China Spring ISD’s tax rate measure passed, allocating more funds for staff and classrooms while keeping the overall tax rate in check. Meanwhile, Midway ISD voters also approved all three sections of a proposed $83.5 million bond package, which backs upgrades to both facilities and educational technologies.

If you’ve been thinking of adopting a furry best friend, come meet this handsome fellow and see if he’s right for you.
💬 Community Corner
The Waco Buzz Dinner Club has turned into something really special, our next one on November 19 already has 62 people signed up. It’s proof that folks in Waco are looking for more ways to connect offline, not just scroll past each other online.
Going into 2026, I want to build on that momentum with more ways to connect with others, things like coffee meetups, Cameron Park hikes, happy hours, curated date nights, and more. No MLM pitches. No pressure. Just good people, good conversations, and a stronger community.
Before we start planning, I want your input.
If you could pick one type of event to see next year, what would it be?
Hit reply and tell me or tap your favorite above. The goal for 2026 is simple: more positive news and engagement, more community, and more chances to meet the people who make Waco awesome.

🎨 Waco’s Favorite Creative Studio

Fuzz Lab Waco is located at 1225 Richland Dr. Suite 1
Looking for something new to do in Waco that doesn’t involve dinner or a screen? Say hello to Fuzz Lab Waco, the city’s DIY craft studio where creativity gets hands-on (and a little fuzzy).
Founded by Baylor alums who met right here in town, Fuzz Lab is built on a love for Waco and a mission to spark imagination. You can dive into beginner-friendly workshops like rug tufting, acrylic drip art, or whipped cream clay (decoden) art, all guided by a friendly team that makes the process easy and fun for every age.
The bright, modern space feels part art studio, part therapy session, part party. It’s perfect for a date night, birthday bash, or team-building event, and you’ll walk out with something you actually made yourself. (Trust us, it’s more satisfying than another Netflix binge.)
If you’re ready to try something new, Fuzz Lab Waco is where creativity meets community, one handmade rug, painting, or whipped-cream creation at a time.
