You asked for more reasons to get off the couch, do something fun, and meet people in Waco. So, naturally, we're taking over McLane Stadium and throwing paper airplanes.

On Sunday, Oct. 18, we're hosting the first Waco Buzz Paper Airplane Championship, presented by L3Harris. Kids, parents, grandparents, competitive coworkers, and anyone who still thinks they can fold a better plane than everyone else are invited.

Here's the deal:

You get unlimited throws, so try a few designs. If your first plane immediately dives into the turf, we’ll have plenty more paper.

And if you have no idea how to fold a paper airplane, don't worry. Our friends at the Mayborn Museum will be there to help you build one that actually flies.

Every ticket includes dinner from The Baylor Club, unlimited throws, and a shot at the grand prize: 52 weeks of Joyride Candy.
