After three weeks of voting, bracket battles, and taco-fueled debates, Waco has spoken. With over 300 votes, the crown goes to none other than Lolita’s.
This isn’t just a win—it’s a legacy. Lolita’s has been serving Waco for over 40 years, building a loyal following with their loved, flavor-packed breakfast tacos and made-from-scratch tortillas. Located at 1911 Franklin Dr and open 7A-2P, where the line often stretches out the door—and no one minds waiting. It’s that good.
From the legendary "elephante" taco to their classic potato, egg, and cheese combo, Lolita’s proves that tradition still wins in a world full of trendy tacos. Generations of Wacoan’s have made this part of their morning routine, and clearly, the love hasn’t faded. Congratulations Lolita’s - Waco loves you and your tacos!
Lauren Daigle Coming to Waco!
Exciting news for music lovers—Lauren Daigle is bringing her Grammy-winning sound to Foster Pavilion this September! The powerhouse vocalist behind hits like "You Say" and "Rescue Me" will grace the stage for an unforgettable night which happens to fall on Baylor’s Parent’s Weekend. Lauren sang “America the Beautiful” before the Super Bowl in February, was on American Idol in 2012, and has since won numerous Grammy’s, Dove Awards, and Billboard Top Chart awards. Tickets go on sale Friday morning, so be ready to secure your spot! Get your tickets here.
Foster Pavilion is heating up—Forest Frank is hitting the stage in two weeks, and now Daigle’s on the fall lineup. As part of the City of Waco and Baylor’s agreement, 10 major performances will be held at the venue by the end of 2026. They're off to a strong start, and we can’t wait to see who’s next.

Bluebonnet season is peaking, and Waco's got some prime spots to soak in the Texas state flower. Here are a few local favorites for photos, picnics, or just slowing down for a moment:
