Together with I-Vit Wellness Lounge

Most of us are walking around mildly dehydrated without knowing it. When you drink water, your body absorbs it slowly through the digestive system. IV therapy bypasses all of that and delivers fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into your bloodstream, which is why people feel the difference fast.

I-Vit Wellness Lounge makes it easy to try. Their new Express Drip takes about 15 minutes and runs $50 as a standalone or $30 added to any NAD+ or Glutathione drip. Their Injection Bar offers targeted support for energy, immunity, and metabolism, and a 10-pack bundle lets you mix and match at a discount.

Whether you have 15 minutes or want a full session, there's an option that fits your schedule.

Walk-ins welcome. Appointments preferred.

BUZZWORTHY NEWS

🏃 A Big Weekend for Waco's Fastest
The Clyde Hart Track & Field Classic is back at Baylor today and Saturday, named after the legendary coach who trained Olympic gold medalists including Michael Johnson. Coach Hart passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 91. This year they're holding a 50-meter dash open to local kids, with a chance to crown Waco's fastest young runner. Notable three time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas, Olympic heptathlon gold medalist Dalilah Muhammad, and members of the Jamaican track team will be competing among many others. General admission tickets are $11.

Saturday morning the Bearathon returns, with the half-marathon starting at 7 a.m. and the Sic 'Em 6K at 8 a.m., both kicking off at McLane Stadium Plaza. Road closures run from 7 a.m. to noon along the route, so plan alternative routes if you're driving in the area that morning.

🐶 Mutt Madness Semifinals Are

Lucy Pearl won her quarterfinal by one vote. Tidus held on by three.

Now we're down to two semifinal matchups: Lucy Pearl vs. Tidus and Lilah vs. Luka. The finals get set Saturday morning and the champion gets crowned in Tuesday's newsletter. Vote, share it, and know that your participation already helped us send $400 to Fuzzy Friends Rescue this week.

👩‍🏫 100 Years of Teaching, One Couple
Last weekend, Vanguard and hundreds from around Waco honored Joe and Patty Flowers, who together logged 100 years in the classroom. Hard to imagine how many lesson plans, parent-teacher conferences, and pencils launched across the room that represents. A combined century of showing up for kids. That deserves a standing ovation.

🚇 Waco Almost Got a Tesla Tunnel
To the surprise of everyone and no one at the same time, Waco made the final 16 cities being considered for a tunnel system built by Elon Musk's Boring Company. We can call it the Tunnel Sweet 16. We did not advance further into the tunnel tournament. Shocking, we know.

They landed on Dallas, New Orleans, and Baltimore, but we'll always have the moral victory of making the bracket.
