Together with Skin & Body Refinery
Spring events are closer than you think, and if you've been curious about what's actually possible for your skin, Skin & Body Refinery MedSpa is the place to start.
Dr. Smith and his team build custom treatment plans around how you want to look and feel. They're running 30, 60, 90, and 6-month event-ready packages, and new clients who mention Waco Buzz when signing up get a luxury welcome bag as a thank-you.
Their NOUVADerm laser treatments are the real deal providing clinical-grade results in a spa like setting. As one client put it: "Nobody guesses I've had anything done, but nobody can believe it when I tell them my age."

BUZZWORTHY NEWS

🎰 Waco's Got a Millionaire
Someone in Waco is sitting on a $1 million winning scratch ticket and they're keeping it quiet. The winning Million Dollar Loteria ticket was purchased at EZ Shop Convenience Store on N. 19th Street by HEB and the winner chose to remain anonymous. The store pockets a $10,000 retailer bonus just for selling it. Somewhere out there a Wacoan is having a very good week and telling absolutely nobody.
🎸 Brazos Nights Just Announced Its Opener
Candlebox is kicking off Brazos Nights on April 17 — if "Far Behind”was ever in your rotation, you already know why this is a big deal. That same weekend, comedian Jon Crist brings his tour to Waco Hall on April 19 — tickets are still available if you want to make a full weekend of it.
🚶 The Riverwalk Moves to Next Phase

Photo cred: City of Waco
The city is closing sections of the Brazos Riverwalk near the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, I-35, Foster Pavilion, and the Riverfront Lofts for a full reconstruction project. No official start date yet, but when it's done (estimated January 2028) expect new lighting, upgraded landscaping, and viewing areas designed to pull you right down to the water.
☕ Quick correction from Tuesday
7 Brew did not open this past Monday as expected. They pushed the grand opening to March 25 to finish up some last-minute work. The bigger news? A third Waco location is already in the works, with construction starting near Valley Mills and the future Alice Martinez Rodriguez Park. At this rate, Waco is becoming a 7 Brew town whether you planned for it or not.

The last few weeks you've seen a lot of "vote for us" campaigns around Waco. We thought it was time to vote for something you might actually care more about — Waco's favorite dog.
The rules are simple.
This is a March Madness-style bracket to crown Waco's favorite pup. A $15 entry fee (which supports Fuzzy Friends Rescue) gets your dog in. There are 6 voting rounds. Half the field gets eliminated each round.
Last pup standing wins a full year of dog treats from Woof Gang Bakery, a $50 gift card to Wags Pet Spa, and a free scoop from Scoopy Doo Waco.
We're proud to have the official vet of The Waco Buzz, Ranch House Pet-Med, as the presenting sponsor of Mutt Madness alongside Scoopy Doo Waco. If you've got a dog in Waco, these are your people.
Registration closes Thursday, March 19 and space is limited. Next week we'll reveal the full bracket and show you exactly how to vote. For now, there's only one job: get your dog in and tell every dog owner you know.
